- Provide education in sustainable agriculture and local food systems through workshops, tours, and events.
- Develop, promote, and protect a local just food system.
- Discover linkages between farmers/producers, processing facilities, and distribution channels in order to develop markets and make affordable quality foods
more readily available to low-income residents.
- Build alliances with other regionally based organizations in order to increase capacity and market outlets for farm enterprises while providing quality food to low-income individuals and families.
- Develop agriculturally based enterprises.
- Provide volunteer opportunities to the public.

May 7th - Mother's Day
Potted plants, flowers, and crafts are great Mother's Day gifts. Bring in the first market day of the season by celebrating Mom. Free Flower for every Mom!
Tri-State Growers has donated a lot of vegetable seed we will be raffling. Are you the lucky winner? 2 bags of seed approximately $50 value each.
June 4th - Honoring National Guards

July 2nd - Food Independence Day
Celebrate Independence Day with a little twist. By growing our own food and supporting community food systems, we celebrate Food Independance! There will be food, music, and fun for kids of all ages!
August 6th - Tomato/Bean Fest, Third Annual
Johnson County, TN was once the "Bean Capitol of the World". Come reminisce these days with nostalgia from the days when beans were king in Johnson County. Tomato buscuits and various varieties of beans will be available for the tasting. Bring a crock pot of beans that are special to you and your family.
October 1st - Pot Luck Lunch
Join us after the market at 1:30 pm for a pot luck covered dish dinner. We'll celebrate the end of a great season and brainstorm what went well this season and where we can improve next year.
